Available in various geometric variants, continuous adjusters are small, self-inhibiting non-incremental gears. This kind of component allows simple adjustment of the tilt angle between the seat structure and the backrest. Both manual and electric models are available. Optional add-on functions allow the backrest to be easily folded forwards.

Discontinuous adjusters have latching positions at regular intervals. After unlocking, the backrest can be quickly moved to the new position and then locked again. Like the continuous adjusters, these are also available in a variety of versions and strength classes. Operation is exclusively manual.
